GOOD STRESSED OAK AND POLLARD OAK DOUBLE BEDSTEAD. CIRCA 1930-40

The has a lovely primitive feel and gives the impression of being a lot older than it is, it has a high raised headboard which has  arched carved detail to the top above a pair of fielded panel which have pollard oak veneers, the footboard has turned columns at each end joined by a narrow panel, the bed comes with metal side irons but will require a bed base or slats, I can obtain an old bed base from a source I have or can have wooden slats made, Both will cost an additional £25.

The base in the pictures is for display purposes only !!  

Measurements

The headboard stands 49" high, the foot stands 28" high, the bed takes a standard double mattress and is 54" wide, the overall length is 80".25.

Delivery.

Most of the deliveries to England will be done by my vehicle and my delivery driver, I will in most cases provide you with a 2 hour delivery window which will save you waiting in all day, (please see my feedback to view how good this service is !!) 

 I am happy to combine deliveries when the goods are delivered via my vehicle but this must stated when asking for a quote,

deliveries to Scotland and the South west beyond Northern Somerset will be carried out by an independant courier, they have a fleet of vehicles and offer a first class service,

 All delivery quotes are based on 1 man who will gladly help place the item in your home,if you require 2 men please ask when requesting a quote !!

Please be aware you will be part of multiple deliveries on the day and your swift help is important !!

Deliveries take between 7 and 21 days on average but can be sooner if required, (Depending on where you are this may in some cases cost extra, if unsure please ask !!)

Storage and self collection

If the item is being collected it must be done within 14 days, if you are unable to collect within 14 days the item can be stored at an aditional cost of £10 per week,

All auctions have no reserves but have 99p starts or low reasonable start prices !!
