Description: 

4 volumes full leather; rebacked with black labels and gilt titles and numbers on the spines. Contemporary leather boards with a double gilt ruling to the edges; boards are aged and leather is cracking but only on the surface.

Binding is extremely firm except for Vol IV which has pages 3 - 22 - one group of pages - lose but not detached.

Internally clean with the 'Hicks' armorial plate on the front paste down.

20 Plates in all - 4 frontispieces, + 3 plates to Vols III & IV and 5 plates to Vols I & II.
