What we are offering here is a highly sought after mid 18th century book, dealing with land surveying by Edward Laurence.
The book features a very nice folding plate.
The book has been collated and is unfortunately lacking the frontis.
The book is disbound, although retains both boards. The spine has split into numerous parts, which has resulted in a number of leaves coming loose. The book will need rebinding.
Condition - there is general soiling and spotting in places. A few leaves have ex-library blind stamps. There is worming, but this is mainly to the margins throughout. The folding plate is torn and as mentioned above, the book is lacking the frontis piece.
The book measures 20 x 13 cm (8 x 5 inches).
