One volume only of a scarce work, a log of proceedings of important British state trials, in this volume from 1679 to 1681, most of which concerned the Popish Plot, some were found guilty and imprisoned, 6 were executed: Thomas Thwyng, Viscount Stafford, Edward Fitzharris, Dr Oliver Plunket Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of all Ireland, Stephen Colledge, and the Earl of Argyle.

Over 500 pages plus contents pages.

Armorial bookplate on front endpaper of Christopher Roberts Wren, Wroxhall House, Warwickshire ( A descendant of the famous architect Sir Christopher Wren ).

CONDITION
18th century full leather binding with slight loss of leather and glue strengthened split down front hinge, marbled endpapers, pages are in good condition.
