The 2-hook flapper rig is called by this name because it presents the bait on two hook snoods, which flap around whilst being cast. It is a very easy rig to use, giving you the choice of multiple baits or a selection. This rig is mainly used for short to medium range fishing.

The 3-hook flapper is the same as the 2-hook flapper only with extra snood. It’s a rig, which is commonly used in competitions when anglers are trying to work out what the best bait of the day might be.

1 ONE HOOK LONG RANGE RIG

If you’re looking for an easy to set and use outfit look no further. The size 3/0 bait holder hook clips onto the impact shield and you’re ready to go. This set is a very streamlined set up and the baited hook releases on impact.

1 TWO HOOK DISTANCE PULLEY RIG

This is quite a complicated design. I’m the only person on ebay making these. The 1^st hook runs through a top eye using a simple pulley action. The second hook is under tension using an srt spring. Both hooks clip on to the impact shield and are released on hitting the water. A top rig for multiple baits over a long distance.

1 COD/BASS PENNEL RIG

This rig is designed for casting larger baits. Both hooks are on the same snood, one of the hooks is allowed to slide which gives great bait presentation. The bottom hooks clips onto the impact shield, making it a very streamlined set up.

1 CLIPS DOWN PENNEL RIG

This is similar to the other type of pennel rig. It differs only that the snood is tensioned with an srt spring. Don’t forget big bait big fish!
