A leaf from the 1495 Incunabula, Sermones de laudibus Sanctorum by Robertus Caracciolus, printed in Reutlingen by Michael Greyff.

The Franciscan Robertus Caracciolo (1425-1495) was for about fifty years the most celebrated preacher in Italy and was sometimes referred to as a “second Paul”.

Double columned gothic style typeset in Latin in black ink. Medieval notation at the top of one side.

FINE condition,  measures 5.5 x 8”.
