14 foot Sailing Dinghy (Beachcomber/Sunfish Maybe)

Here is an easy winter project which will give you hours of fun come the summer. I picked this up a year or so ago with the intention of doing it up and sailing it off the beach on those weekends when the tides are wrong to take my other boat out; but sadly time has beaten me so this lovely little boat needs to go to a new home where she will be appreciated. As far as I can tell this is an early Beachcomber or if not something very similar. It is approx 14 feet long (all sizes and the age are approximate) with a lanteen rig and comes complete with rudder, dagger board, two masts, booms and two sails (one well worn but usable and one very good). These are easy boats to sail and excellent for the kids to learn in or just for messing around. There is no trailer with the boat but it is light enough to go on the car roof (that’s how we got it home with no problems). As I have said this is an easy project requiring a couple of seams repairing with resin and tape, a repaint and not much else (a couple of weekends in the garage or shed).
