This excess is so that the tip of the hair looks natural like your own hair. Similar 18" lengths on sale in the eBay marketplace are advertised as 19" and even 20" in some cases, instead of 18". This is common with all lengths of varying sizes. This is usually advertised as a longer length for marketing purposes. However we have chosen to advertise the hair as they come described by the manufacturers.
