These 12" Baskets are a smaller version of the 14" very popular innovative baskets which have been designed to give all the benefits of a traditional mossed basket, but with none of the time consuming chores of using moss or a liner. These baskets are ideal for the smaller gardens and also cost less to plant.

These long lasting plastic bodied baskets not only need less watering than a traditional moss lined basket, but can also reduce planting time by as much as 75%.

The plants roots breathe naturally through the unique latticed inserts, which also eliminate root damage during planting. No moss or liner required, each basket comes complete with chain and 6 inserts.

HOW TO PLANT: Fill the basket to the bottom of the holes with compost, then lay the ready grown plants (or plugs) on the compost with the stem of the plant sticking out through the lip of the hole. Now clip the latticed inserts in place from the inside of the basket and then fill to the top with compost and plant the top. We recommend the use of 1 to 2 slow release feed pellets per basket.

TIP: If you use well grown plants the basket can look well established straight away!


 

  
  Plug plant care:

Plug plants should be unpacked immediately upon arrival and kept out of direct sunlight, if necessary the rootball should be immersed in cool water until saturated and then the plug planted into its container. Plant into a good quality potting compost, preferably a mixture including a proportion of John innes and slow release fertiliser.

These plug plants are guaranteed high quality, disease free and professionally produced. Some of these plants may be subject to Plant Breeders Rights.

Please note that the colours of the actual plants received may vary to those in the picture.

Deciduous trees and plants may be shipped without leaves during their dormancy period.

Please pay by PayPal as soon as you receive notification of winning bid and we will dispatch your purchase on the next Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after receiving cleared funds in our account. (We do not normally dispatch Thursday to Sunday inclusive to avoid live plants sitting in a sorting depot over the weekend.)

Non perishable items are normally dispatched within 2 working days of receiving payment.

Alternatively, you can send personal cheque or Postal Order, but please allow at least 7 working days for cheques to clear.

FAULTY GOODS
All goods are new unless stated otherwise. If you are signing for your items and the packaging is damaged in any way please make sure that this is marked on the delivery documentation before signing. Any item found to be damaged or faulty when received must be returned to us WITHIN 7 DAYS of receipt, please contact us through eBay communications. RETURNS FOR REFUND
These items must be returned to us unused with original packaging intact and in a saleable condition within 7 days of receipt. Goods must be returned carriage paid. Refund of purchase price will be refunded by the same method as the payment was made. Postage and Packing will not be refunded.
