Orders paid via Paypal will be despatched by courier or Royal Mail first class recorded before 1pm Monday to Friday. Personal cheques can be accepted and goods will be despatched 10 working days after receipt to allow for bank clearance. In the event of transit damage to your goods, please notify us by email within 48 hours to arrange a return and refund.


We dispatch all orders Mon to Fri (excluding bank or public holidays) and as soon as payment has been received and cleared. If you pay for any products after 1pm on a Friday, the order will only be dispatched on the following Monday. We will aim to despatch orders within 24 hours of payment confirmation.

  1. All goods remain the property of lightsforcars.co.uk until paid for in full.
  2. Delivery dates and time are given as advice only and may vary due to circumstances beyond the control of lightsforcars.co.uk.
  3. It is the customer's responsibility to check goods on receipt for damage. We must be notified in writing within 48 hours of receipt if damage has occurred during transit, failing which no refund can be made.
  4. If a replacement for an item that is damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied is required before that item can be returned to lightsforcars.co.uk it will be treated as a separate sale. A refund for the said item can only be considered once that item has been returned to lightsforcars.co.uk for inspection.
  5. Refunds cannot be made for items that have been damaged due to customer misuse or modified in any way.
  6. Provided an item is unused and in its original packaging, it may be returned (at the customer's cost) for a refund provided it reaches us within 14 days of the original sale date.
  7. When returning items to us, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that they are packed so as to prevent damage to the item/s and packaging en route to us. We are unable to process refunds if items returned to us are damaged in transit to us.
  8. We must be contacted in advance if you wish to return an item to obtain authorisation. Unauthorised returns cannot be accepted.
  9. Any refund of carriage charges will be solely at the discretion of lightsforcars.co.uk. Carriage charges will not be refunded for goods that have been correctly supplied in good order.
  10. Returned goods that have been correctly supplied may, at the discretion of lightsforcars.co.uk, be subject to a re-stocking charge of 25%.
  11. Any product requiring painting should be examined and trial fitted before the painting process begins. If, after painting, a product is found to be defective no compensation can be given for it or any painting costs incurred.
  12. lightsforcars.co.uk can accept no liability for direct, consequential or any other losses whatsoever arising from the supply of any goods.

All returns must be authorised in advance.  It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the returned item is securely packaged to prevent damage in transit. Seller's payment instructions
To avoid delivery delays due to Royal Mail strike action we will be using a courier service to ship all domestic items until further notice. Unfortunately this adds slightly to the delivery cost, but we want to ensure that our customers do not suffer delayed or lost items due to circumstances beyond their (and our) control.
