Awareness Bands for the Meningitis Research Foundation.
Meningitis Research Foundation is a national registered charity established in 1989. From small beginnings, the Foundation has grown into an international charity at the forefront of fighting death and disability resulting from meningitis and septicemia.
Since the charity's inception, thousands of people have become members of the Foundation, working together to help us achieve our vision of a world free from meningitis and septicemia.

Meningitis Research Foundation currently funds over 18 research projects with current and future research grant commitments of £1.1 million/€1.49 million.
Since it was founded in 1989, the charity has awarded 118 research grants, leading to many advances in the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicemia. The total value of the Foundation's investment in vital scientific research is nearly £13 million/€17.55 million.
The Foundation runs dynamic and effective awareness programs for both the general public and health professionals, which reflect best current understanding of meningitis and septicemia. The charity has distributed millions of life-saving symptoms cards, leaflets and posters to the general public and health professionals free of charge.
