We are offering for sale a superb set of twelve Victorian silver teaspoons in King's Pattern. These spoons are of the very highest quality and are typical of those made by Chawner & Company who were the permier spoon making specialists of the 19th Century. Each piece has very crisp double-struck decoration and bear engraved initialled crests to the front terminals. They have a good solid feel in the hand and benefit from being in excellent polished condition.

 

Straight sets of 12 King's Pattern teaspoons are quite a rarity. We are very fortunate to have a matching set of 30 in stock! Six more teaspoons from the same set are currently also being offered, plus 18 matching dessert spoons - please view our other listings. 

 

MEASUREMENTS: 5.6” (143mm) long; 450g (14.5 troy ounces) weight. 

 

MARKS: Full set of English hallmarks (guaranteeing Sterling 925 standard silver) for London 1844 by George Adams of Chawner & Co. (GA makers mark).

 

CONDITION: Excellent.
