A new, 12 inch diameter ships wheel, built in the traditional manner, of overlapping arcs of hardwood, dowelled together with turned spokes and a central brass boss bored to 18 mm with a keyway. This is primarily ornamental, but is quite fit for use on a boat. The size is measured from tip to tip of the spokes and is in fact, nearer 13 inches, but the size given on the box is 12".
