These are the most common sheds in our range.  They consist of 16mm x 125mm planed tongue & groove cladding, 38mm x 50mm planed framing,
18mm rough sawn heavy duty floor boards,   The floor on these sheds are tanalised for added durability and longevity.

1. FLOOR: The floor of a shed will ultimately determine the life of the shed. Not only does the floor support the entire construction, but it is the most difficult part to treat or replace. This is why our sheds have all been fitted with heavy duty tanalised flooring. Tanalised flooring is pressure injected to make it resistant to the elements as much as is possible, and will prevent rot and water absorption. It is also anti-fungal, and will resist insect attack for many years. Extra floor runners are fitted to ensure strength and stability (see pictures of car on flooring).

2. ROOF:  Next to the floor the roof is the most important part of a shed in determining the overall life of the shed.  Needless to say we have designed our rooves so that they can withstand many years of extreme conditions by adding extra tanalised cross-members as re-inforcement.  These rooves are of the strongest, most robust design possible using the available high quality materials we have at our disposal!

3. DOOR: Since the door is the most 'used' part of a shed we have fitted all of our sheds with a full ledge and brace door for extra strength, and to combat warping over the years. The ledge and brace door is an altogether more sturdy construction as compared with regular (or 'other') shed doors.

4. FRAMING: All of our sheds are made using tanalised timber framing for greatly increased durability. Realising the immense advantages of the tanalised timber framing we fit to our 'top of the range' sheds we have now decided to use it throughout our entire range.*

5. CLADDING: Although shiplap, overlap and feather-edge boards are a suitable short term alternative we have chosen to use only full tongue and groove timber cladding for the carcasses (walls) of our sheds.* Tongue and groove boards are more resistant to leaks (and drafts), and will 'settle' with the initial wood shrinkage, leaving no gaps or joins. Tongue and groove is also a more secure construction as it cannot easily be prized away from the framing by would-be vandals or thieves.

6. WOOD: Unlike many of our leading competitors we have used only 'real' timber for every part of our sheds. As chipboard, OSB and other 'fake' woods break down after only a couple of years we have made it our policy to only use the finest quality 'real' timbers throughout the entire construction - enormously increasing shed life expectancy to it's fullest.

7. DELIVERY: Within 120 miles of our midland-based workshop delivery AND fitting are both free to the customer (see delivery area map on website)* Sorry, we do not deliver to Scotland, Ireland or Cornwall.

8. COST: As we deal directly with the timber suppliers, run our own delivery service, and do not operate through a third party we are able to offer you fantastic quality at as low a price as is possible in the trade.

9. EXPERIENCE: After many years in the shed-making business we are fortunate enough to have gathered a team of experts who really can 'do their job'. We have experts and trained craftsmen in all departments. Our designers have worked relentlessly to ensure that our sheds are not only unique, but that they will comfortably meet and exceed the customer's demands - however extreme they may be!

10. EXTRA HEIGHT: Due to listening to the demands of our customers we have decided to increase overall shed height so that a 6ft tall person can now stand up in any part of our sheds.

11. TREATMENT: All of our standard (non-tanalised) sheds are treated with a water-based treatment on our premises completely free of charge!
