POSTAGE AND PACKAGING COSTS

We only provide a mail order service and collection of items is not possible.

We will usually dispatch within 3-5 working days of receiving cleared payment.

The postal charge is not only the cost of the stamp or the courier – it also includes an administrative cost, a picking and packing fee and transportation of an item to the post office.  Please bear this in mind before bidding.  The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and these charges are non refundable in any circumstances (unless the goods are deemed faulty).

Any item up to 4kg is sent by Royal Mail (2 nd class) - items over 4kg are sent by courier.

We will combine postage costs on any multiple purchases which can be sent in one parcel up to £8.95.  Please request a combined invoice prior to making your payment.

Our stated shipping costs apply to the UK only – OVERSEAS BUYERS AND THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS & ISLANDS please ask for a shipping cost prior to bidding.

If paying by PayPal we can only ship to the address on the PayPal account.  If you require an alternative delivery address please amend prior to forwarding payment or please use an alternative payment method

If the buyer provides an incorrect or incomplete address, they are liable for the delay in delivery or the return/loss of an item.

BIDDING

A bid is a legally binding contract.  Please be certain you want/can pay for the item before you commit to buying it.   Please ASK any questions that will affect your purchase decision BEFORE you place any bids.  The act of bidding will enter you into a legally binding contract.  If you don’t agree to any part of the listing, please don’t bid.  As soon as you commit to buy the item, Ebay charges the seller a commission.  If you then fail to pay we still have to pay the commission AND a relisting fee.   If a buyer fails to pay within 5 days they will receive a payment reminder sent via Ebay and if there is still no response a ‘non paying bidder alert’ will be filed with Ebay and a ‘strike’ will be set against your account. Three strikes and Ebay will suspend the bidder indefinitely.

Non paying bidders will be reported to Ebay.

PAYMENT

We accept the following forms of payment:

PayPal - send money by email at no cost to the sender. This is our preferred method of payment.

Cheque - must be from a UK bank and in Pounds Sterling and payable to Simarc Trading Ltd.  Please put your name and address on the back of the cheque and the item number you have bought.  Dispatch of order will be subject to cheque clearance which could be 7-10 working days from receipt.

Postal Order – we only accept British Postal Orders in Pounds Sterling.  We do not accept International Money orders.  Please ensure you enclose a copy of the item number you have bought or print a copy of the item page.  Please also make sure you give us your full address.
