This is a standard 125kc manchester encoded EM H 4102 RFID tag
It is compatible with the readers I have been selling on Ebay and also many other reads and electronic door lock RFID tag readers that you can buy here on Ebay from other sellers. If you are buying a reader from somebody else ask them to look at the specs of my tags to see if they will work
This encapsulated transponder is hard waring and can be read from 10cms away.

We have previously fitted similar RFID tags inside PMR radios, mobile phones & computer equipment for multi purpose use:-
1) They are a theft deterrant and can assist police with identification and recovery of stolen goods
2) Asset tracking - people can remove a barcode or serial number (deliberately or accidentally) but they cant get an RFID tag out without dismantling the radio
3) Access control - Using the above mentioned electronic door locks, just pass your radio (which all our staff had to carry anyway) over the lock reader and the door opens
These tags are much larger than most and have a very good read range.
