'Isis' Beige Travertine Mosaic Wall Tiles

Cure insomnia by counting the number of individual mosaic pieces on your bathroom wall covered in your fabulous new avante mosaic wall tiles.
These high-quality, hand-made beige travertine mosaic wall tiles are available on 300mm x 300mm mesh backing for easy installation. We are selling them in packs of 10 (ten) tiles which works out at just under 1 m2.
This 'Isis' natural stone tile is made up of three different sizes of mosaic:
The 'Isis' range offers a selection of eye-catching shapes combined in each tile to give a uniquely creative look and feel. With their elegant natural tones the mosaics patterns of the 'Isis' range lend a classical finish to the modern cloakroom and bathroom. These subtle beige travertine mosaics match a wide variety of basins offered by avante in the same material including the stunning 'salt and pepper' curved basin shown in the photos below.
The picture above shows the 'Isis' tile in beige travertine used to cover the whole wall; however there are many ways to use mosaics - in addition to covering the entire wall, they can be used as a splashback behind a basin, or in combination with other tiles as a border.
Richard, our head of operations, just gave me a knowing grin when we took delivery of these beige travertine mosaic tiles for the first time.
Natural Stone
As the name suggests, natural stone is a product of nature and this means that no two examples will be exactly alike. The inherent variations in colour, surface texture, veining and markings are part of the natural beauty and characteristics of the product.
EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT BEIGE TRAVERTINE NATURAL STONE WALL TILES
- Tile size in inches: 11 7/8" x 11 7/8" (for the metrically challenged)
- Number of Masaic Tiles sold per pack: 10 (ten)
- Number of Mosaic Tiles per Square Metre: 11 (eleven)
- Number of Mosaic Tiles per Square Foot: 1 (one)
These figures are subject to small variations to take into account movement of the mosaic tiles on the mesh backing and quantities do not include gaps for grouting.
How many tiles should you order?:
For square and rectangular shapes divide the wall area being covered by the area of each sheet (0.090m2). Where the area being tiled is not straight or square at the edges then please order extra sheets to create the part sheets you will require.
We recommend that you order at least a few extra tiles (5-10%) as contingency in the event of breakage during cutting or to deal with non-standard shapes using up part tiles.
EXAMPLE No. 1
You want to put a rectangular shaped backsplash behind your basin. The area to be covered is 3.2m2.
3.2 divided by 0.090 = 35.56
This rounds up to 36 tiles. A 10% contingency is 3-4 tiles so you should order 40 tiles (4 packs).
EXAMPLE No. 2
You are covering an entire wall which does not have a straight edge at one side. The area to be covered is 22.14m2.
22.14 divided by 0.090 = 246
A 10% contingency is 25 tiles so you should order 270 tiles (27 packs).
Our minimum sale quantity is 1 (one) pack of 10 tiles but we are happy to sell part packs if you do not require a full pack above this minimum quantity.
How do I fix natural stone mosaic wall tiles?
STEP 1
We recommend that you should coat the wall tiles with sealant before fixing to the wall to protect against damage during the fixing from the adhesive and grouting. Once the tiles have been fitted and the grout is completely dry then you should apply a further coat of sealant over the entire tiled area.
STEP 2
We recommend that you should use a pale coloured adhesive with these natural stone tiles. It is advisable to keep adhesive off the natural stone mosaics so please use a slightly damp cloth or sponge to wipe away adhesive as you fix to the wall. Because there are many types of adhesive available on the market we would suggest that you discuss the best type to use with your supplier.
STEP 3
A white grout is recommended for use with our beige travertine, limestone and alize white marble tiles. You can use either a white or grey grout with our darker maxima grey marble tiles. For use in the bathroom we would suggest using a waterproof grout. Please do not start grouting until the mosaic tiles are completely dry from the adhesive (this can take at least 24 hours and will vary depending on the environment in which you are fixing the tiles). It is best practise to complete entire areas of grouting at the same time to avoid inconsistencies in colouring and finish.

PAYMENT
We ask that all goods are paid for prior to delivery with cleared funds and are made through Paypal – which you can do instantly using your debit or credit card. We do not charge you for using Paypal.
Confirmation – We will send you a confirmation message to your eBay registered email account once your have bought any product at our eBay shop.
Unpaid Goods - Please note that payment must be received within 3 days after you have finished shopping in our eBay shop. Where payment is not received in this time we will start the unpaid item process with eBay and block the user id from buying any of our products.
VAT – All our prices are quoted inclusive of VAT at the then current rate in force in the UK.
DELIVERY
Time of delivery - We try to send out all goods within 72 hours of payment being received and will usually dispatch within 24 hours (excluding Saturday, Sunday & Public holidays). Orders received and paid for by 12 Noon will be sent out on the same day. All our goods are delivered by courier to your stated postal address (in mainland UK only). Please note that we can only deliver to the address that your payment card through Paypal is registered at. A signature will be required on delivery. Our standard delivery service is for Monday - Friday only; there is a premium charge of £25 for Saturday delivery. We ask for your full name, delivery address, best date and time for delivery. A daytime contact telephone number must also be supplied for all purchases. This will be used by our couriers to ensure as fast a delivery time as possible and to contact you if there is a problem in delivery. If you have any questions or issues with delivery then you can contact our courier service directly on 0113 243 5765 – choose option 2 and please quote the consignment number issued to you by email by our couriers.
Alternative delivery address - If you would like us to deliver to a different address from your stated postal address, such as to a work address, or on a specific day, please email us before we send out the goods (info@avantebathrooms.com). We cannot change the delivery address once the goods have already been sent out. We do not deliver to PO Boxes or to hotels and hostels. Goods are insured against damage in transit to Road Haulage standard terms (£13.00 per kilo with no cover for consequential loss). If you require further cover then please contact our carrier directly about this. Please email us within 48 hours if goods are found to be damaged in transit.
Delivery process – When your goods are sent out we will provide you with a reference number to follow the delivery process directly with courier. If no one is available to sign for the goods, our courier will leave a contact card. Unless you contact them to rearrange delivery, they will try to deliver for a second time the following day. After two failed attempts to deliver, our courier will hold your parcel for a maximum of 5 days. If during that time you do not contact them, the goods will be returned to Avante Bathrooms. We reserve the right to charge you for the full cost of returning the goods to us. No guarantee – All delivery times stated are estimates only. Events beyond our control can lead to delays or non-delivery and therefore we cannot be held responsible for late delivery. Please bear this in mind if booking in tradesmen for fitting, or arranging days off work.
Checking of deliveries - Please check your delivery whilst the courier is still present and do not sign for the goods until you are fully satisfied. Please contact us at info@avantebathrooms.com, within 48 hours, if:
• We have supplied any goods to you by mistake;
• Your delivery is not complete;
• Goods are damaged or have gone missing in transit.
You should state your eBay item number, your buyer user id, delivery address and details of any damage, and we will be pleased to help sort out any issues as quickly as possible.
RETURNS
Please note that these Terms do not in any way affect your STATUTORY RIGHTS.
Return and refund in according with the Distance Selling Regulations - where you have bought goods for your own private use as a consumer (as opposed to business use) and want to exercise your right to cancel the contract you must notify our Customer Service team via email at info@avantebathrooms.com within 7 working days after the date of receipt of the delivery and return the ordered goods to us. However, you may NOT return and claim a refund for goods that have been made to your specification or ones that have been clearly personalised. The return of any such goods WILL BE AT YOUR OWN COST.
How to return Products - Please note that when you return goods under these terms, both the goods themselves and any original packaging must be in perfect condition. You must also include all accessories, instructions and care guides and any free gifts that came with the goods. If not, the goods will be sent back to you and you will be charged for the goods and the delivery cost. Where goods have been bought as a part of a bundle of goods, ALL goods within that bundle must be returned.
