10 Palm Tree Seeds - CHAMAEROPS HUMILIS - "Mediterranean Fan Palm"
All of my seeds are very fresh and are purchased from a reputable UK based specialist. As freshness is key to success I recommend that you plant them soon after purchase. Palm seeds can be grown all year round so there is no need to wait until spring. Light is not required for germination making an airing cupboard an ideal location. Well researched & detailed germination instructions are supplied as standard.
Chamaerops humulis is one of the most hardy fan palms around. It is frost hardy to -12 degrees C and can easily withstand cold snowy winters. It is also tolerant of windy conditions.
It is a clump forming fan palm with grey/blue to green leaves 12 to 24 inches long. Native to the countries around the western half of the Mediterranean sea it can reach a maximum height of 6 metres over many years (less in the UK). Growth rate is slow/moderate.
Plant in full sun or light shade in well drained soil. Young specimens make excellent container plants and would make a spectacular addition to any patio or conservatory. If you have room plant into the garden for a dramatic effect.

All items will be sent via Royal Mail standard post, please allow up to 3 working days for 1st class delivery and 7 working days for 2nd class. If you require recorded delivery please request a price.

All items will be sent via Royal Mail airmail, please allow up to 21 working days for delivery to Europe and up to 28 days for the rest of the world. If you require the package to be “signed for “ please request a price.
Deliveries outside of the EU require customs documentation. Please note it the responsibility of the buyer to check your countries regulations. Seeds confiscated by customs will not be refunded or replaced. I have not had any deliveries confiscated as yet, but there is always a first time.

My postage costs are based on the weight and dimensions of the item, including packaging, as per UK Royal Mail published costs. They also include all packaging materials used to ship your items.
Returns
I aim to provide the highest levels of quality and service. If I do make a mistake, please let me know and I will do all I can to put things right. If for any reason the item is not as described in the listing, please return it in its original condition and packaging within 14 days and I will be happy to provide a full refund including original postage costs.
