These are bare roots with green shoots, of Alcea rosea - Double Hollyhocks Mixed Colours 'Summer Carnival'. These roots are ready to be planted out, on mild winter days, into their final flowering positions or if preferred can be potted up into 13 cm pots and transplanted later.
These roots will produce flowers this Summer, flowering around late July. Prefer a position in sun or half sun and could be grown in deep pots or in the open ground. They will grow to approximately 6 feet in height. To prevent rust, water plants regularly. Rust on leaves is caused by insufficient water.
