10 HARDY ESCALLONIA CRIMSON SPIRE SHRUB HEDGING PLANTS

This is for 10 Escallonia Crimson Spire plants.

Escallonia is an ideal evergreen hedging and screening plant wherever the temperature does not drop below minus 7'C.

Copes well with sea winds and a well drained sandy soil. It can be cut and trimmed to any height from 45cm to a  maximum height of 3m.

Can be grown as a specimen plant or as hedging.

As with all good hedging plants it can be cut very hard into the old wood and it will shoot out with fresh growth.

Dark bottle green foliage all year round and is covered in sweetly scented, small, crimson flowers in Summer and early Autumn.

You will receive 10 lovely, healthy young plants approximately 15-20cm tall. Full cultural and care instructions included. The plant pictured is a mature plant and not the one you will receive. The plants we send are healthy young plants with excellent root systems. We send our plants growing in compost in 9cm pots to protect the roots.
