Ajuga reptans 'Burgundy Glow'

Excellent evergreen plant. Arguably the best multicoloured foliage ever cultivated, clear white- yellow,pink and purple foliage on each leaf. Very distinctive colour in full sun. Can be grown in part shade. Any soil .Blue flowers autumn.Keeps leaves all year round. 2ft x 2ft Tip-The secret is to chop back as often as possible to get this very distinctive growth. Below left-

Milium effusum 'Aureum' Above right - Small illuminous yellow breed grass, excellent all year round foliage. Grown in half shade or sun. Keep moist in sunny location. Compact for a true grass type! 2ft x1ft

Sedum rupestre- Good strong blue foliage ,sunny location, crawling plant for winter and summer colour. Also with lovely yellow flowers in spring held on 1ft shoots- flowers finish after 2 months leaving this ground cover plant. 2ft x 1ft.

Arabis sturii- Is quite rare in terms of availability to the consumer. Has amazing white flowers held on abundant stems in spring/summer. Half of the rosette tuffeted green foliage turns purple red both in poorer soils and cooler seasons. The purple red foliage may revert to green for three summer months. 2ft x 1ft. Shade to sun. Excellent spreader. I love this plant its so reliable!

Ajuga reptans 'Braunherz'  Picture below left-

Grows any soil.Full sun brings out colour best.Part shade is okay. Blue flowers Autumn. Winter favourite all season plant.  Purple-black foliage makes brilliant contrast with yellow or opposite colour spectrum's in any location.(eg the above small yellow grass) Novelty plant ,people often notice it unusual quality. 2ft x 2ft

Aubrieta deltoidea- Above right. A garden favourite. Has rich blue flowers in spring/early summer remains evergreen with grey blue green foliage year round.

Potentilla, alpine small- tidy ground hugging plant. Yellow flowers June to late summer with intricate serrated foliage. Great asset to any garden. below

Sedum spurium 'Coccineum'- In summer this is a 2ft x 1ft mainly red and green ground cover plant. Tip-The more you pinch out tips the bushier and better it becomes! A great novelty plant which contrasts with other different colour spectrum's.The stems redden in autumn /winter strongly. Above shows this and the flowers in Autumn.

Delosperma nubigenum-Perfect circular form and shape from this 3ft x 1ft ground hugger. Beautiful succulent texture with these light green fleshy leaves. Above pictures end of May in bud.  Outstanding daisy yellow flowers in summer time.

Sedum spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco'-This alpine is stocked by no less than 47 RHS recommended Nurseries. Its popularity is from its beautiful blue,white curled fleshy foliage with contrasting yellow flower in spring. Outstanding.

Returns policy-In the unlikely event of plants being damaged or the standard being poor a refund can be discussed and given where necessary. For most plants at present it is harder to give a replacement due to being a home hobby and not always carrying extra plant stock numbers. Hopefully this can change in the future with more funding as you enjoy these plants.

Shipping and plant details-

By parcel, first class and dispatched every day other than Friday,Saturday and Sunday so plants don't get delayed in the mail bag over the weekend particularly on Sunday.

Named plants listed above are cutting grown and potted up myself into 9cm pots with good root systems.

Pots will be removed on delivery. The horticultural term is 'bare root' where most soil is carefully washed off enabling roots to be kept in prime condition for delivery purposes. This reduces weight and delivery costs to the consumer and gives the plant a head start by increasing soil contact when planting. Full instructions for planting are provided. To maintain plant quality they will be packed carefully in water retentive towels in peak condition-just unwrap and plant it couldn't be easier!
