Karo Dark corn syrup is great for cooking. Used in tons of American recipes, its a great thing to have handy in the kitchen. Corn syrup is a mildly sweet, concentrated solution of dextrose and other sugars derived from corn starch. Dark corn syrup also contains refiners' syrup which is a cane sugar product with a molasses-like flavour. Alternatively we also have the light version which just has has vanilla added to it ( see our other auctions!). A recipe for Pecan Pie is on the back of the bottle. Yummy!
