About Henna & Brite Henna
Mehendi used since ancient times, has many names. Some are Mehendi (Hindi), ‘Lawsonia inermis’ (Latin), ‘Henna’ (Arabic), ‘Mardani’ (Tamil), ‘Gorianta’ (Telugu). The dyeing capacity of the Mehendi produced around Sojat region is the best in the world because of its arid conditions and the region having only natural irrigation through rainfall in all its history. Our selected Henna Leaves are collected right from the farmers. Then, the leaves are cleaned of twigs and dust and then crushed and pulverized into powder. After sieving, it is packed in consumer packing of varying sizes. Ours being a pure natural product, can be safely used for dyeing and conditioning hair. Being natural, its darkness varies from season to season. Also due to difference in an individual’s body chemistry, deepness of the colour varies from person to person. Henna has only one natural colour, don’t use different-coloured Henna as it contains harmful chemicals, like PPD, which cause Eczema, Sleeping Disorders and Skin Cancer. There is no natural product like Mehandi Oil. Mehendi Oil available in market is mixture of different Oils and Perfumes. Any Oil like Coconut, Mustard or Vegetable Oil can be applied after removing Henna paste from skin or hair.
FOR HAIR :
1.Soak henna overnight or min 3 hours(mix with tea liquor or coffee powder for better results)
2.Apply in small sections of the hair & comb through
3.Allow to remain in hair for 2-3 hrs, if a deep tint is required
4.Rinse off with water & shampoo
5.To get rid of dandruff blend henna powder with fresh curd or plain yogurt & then apply.
FOR HAND & FEET:
1.Make a paste of henna in a container
2. Soak the paste for min of 3-4 hours
3.Fill the paste in a cone
4.Apply the henna as per the design on hands & feet.
