 A Stunning SCOTTISH NOTTINGHAM LACE SAMPLE PANEL

 

 This beautiful lace panel is subtly decorated  in true Vintage simplistic style.

It is a very fine weave design typical of the 1930s and is unHEMMED finished to the top and the bottom edge.

 It needs turning and hemming top and bottom so that the panel is then READY TO HANG.....this is relatively easy to do either by hand or machine.

 

 

An ORIGINAL SHOWROOM SAMPLE of fine Scottish quality cotton lace

Made on the original Victorian Nottingham Lace Machines

  

 

 

 The auction is for 1 VINTAGE sample lace panel from the mill showroom.

 

 

 

 

 

As well as being used as a curtain panel,it could equally be used as a tablecloth.
