1 JANTEX TUB TAPE FOR TUBULARS - 4 MTR ADHESIVE TAPE PER REEL

Suitable for two tubular rims (not for H.P rims).

Use: For sticking tubular tyres onto sprint rims before riding 1x tub tapes will do 2 rims).

These two new Jantex four metre long x 17mm (approximately) wide tub tape is a must if you are thinking of using tubulars (tubs) on sprint rims.

It is vital that either rim glue or tubular tape is used (with the tub at full pressure) before riding as the tub will come away from the rim on corners otherwise.

Top Tip: Firstly ensure the rim is clean & free from any dirt, then carefully apply the tub tape by starting at the valve hole & pushing down whilst centering the tape as you go along. Fold over about two inches of tape then fit the tub at a low pressure enough to hold it's shape. Slowly spin the wheel & centre the tub if the tub is not straight. Lift the tub with one hand & pull away the tape every 2-3 inches until all the tape is peeled away. Pump up to full pressure & leave overnight. Ride upright for around 200 metres on first ride before any heavy cornering.

Pressures once taped to rim are normally between 100-130PSI max, but always check first. It's best to let the pressure down when not using your tubs & keep them out of direct sunlight, just a couple of tips to keep your tubs in top shape for racing.

Please note if your intending to use these for track use; check first with your track coach/sec to see if tub tape is suitable for your track, as some might insist on glued tubs.
