1 Pair of Doulton Burslem China Plates c.1891 - c. 1902
The stamp marking on the back of these plates dates them as above
There are the 4 D's + a coronet which was added in 1886 to acknowledge Henry Doulton as potter to
H R H The Prince of Wales ( Later King Edward VI 1) England was then added underneath in 1891
I have tried to give as much information on the stamp to allow identification as per the photographs
The Plates measure 9" across and are decorated with very delicate coloured flowers
The border is a pale apricot colour with a gold rim and the inside is white
Each plate has a bunch of lilac coloured chrysanthemums as the main pattern
Then at the edges there are smaller sprays one has Yellow and Pink flowers
and the other has Pink and Bronze flowers with a tiny bit of yellow beautiful !!!
Thanks for Looking and Good Luck
