Chameleon ware was produced by George Clews & Co, Brownhills Pottery, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Original, dribble glaze Art Pottery from around 1906 which developed from around the 1920's in to the Art Deco designs so popular with collectors today for their range of colours against contrasting sponged grounds.
The hallmarks on these two vases indicate that they are circa 1935+ (But not later than 1947 as the hallmark changed in that year)
Sadly there is some damage... The two detailed photographs of damage to the base relate to one of the vases. Damage to the second vase can be seen on the photograph of the two bases (showing the hallmarks, item codes and limited edition number) - it's the vase on the left. Although quite noticeable when viewing from the underside, it isn't anywhere near that pronounced when viewing normally. There is also a hairline crack which can be seen on the main photograph.
There is no reserve being placed on these collectable pieces as I believe the bidding will reflect their true value. That's what I like about EBay...
