This offer is for a board to replace the BULB in the LIMA 00 Gauge HST Class 43 in the Powered Car. DC or DCC operated version.
NOTE this board is easily fitted to either CAR but the power pickup is not so simple.
The DC power car lights can be supplied by soldering, the supplied, attached wires to the motor terminals.
The dummy unit does not come with usable pickups fitted as standard. The Photo shows the power being obtained using the front bogie securing system modified to pickup from both rails. Phosphor Bronze contacts have been fitted in a similar fashion as in the power car.
FOR DCC operation the light switching function f0 and the Direction Arrows can be used. Fitting and operating notes are supplied.
One advantage of DCC is that the lights remain on until commanded off.DUAL COLOURED LED's can be seen mounted on the small Printed Circuit Board and the operating Whites can be seen in the lower section of the photo.
This PCB has on it all that is needed to provide automatic directional switching on DC.
Alternatively on DCC a suitable decoder needs to be fitted in both Powered & Dummy Cars. Installation notes are supplied to achieve commanded switching.
