Built by the Borsing Co. In 1922 for the
Prussian Railways , the first 10 locomotives of the type were grouped as P10
not only for heavy freight service but for passenger service too. Borsing.
Henschel and Hanomag later built many of these locomotives, which were grouped
under the BR 39 family.
Our model P10 in the original version BR 39 DB has the following features:
5 pole powerful motor with flywheel in the tender; transmission by worm gearing
and gears situated no the first and last axle of the tender; heavy tender for a
great adhesion; short coupling with mechanism between loco and tender and on
the rear of the tender; NEM pocket;
current pick-up on all driving wheels of the loco and on the central axles of
the tender; black nickelplated wheel-rims; thin connecting-rods in stainless;
sprung buffers on the tender.
The model is brand new, equipped with Arnold decoder . It works with all known
digital systems.
