We are a green company and as such we try to reduce the paper waste.
We don’t use excessive packaging material and won't send small items in very large boxes.
Please don’t be surprised if you don’t get any paperwork with your order.
We haven't had any complaints about no paper work being issued.
If you like, we can e-mail invoices as requested (please e-mail).
We try to give an honest description of all our goods, so that what you see and read about is what you get. If we have not been able to test an item as working, we will say so. We try as far as humanly possible to ensure that all listings are accurate – however, as we are not perfect, mistakes can happen.
We pack all of our goods to the best of our ability, sometimes using recycled packaging. We always obtain a Certificate of Posting. We cannot be held responsible for any damage to the package in transit to you, nor can we be responsible for the Royal Mail's failure to deliver your item, nor for the failure of the buyer to supply the correct address (as has been tried). We can only claim compensation for lost items sixty days after posting. Before sixty days have passed, we can do nothing. We always ensure that a return address is on the package so that it can be returned to us, in case of non-delivery.
The postage cost is not just the price of a stamp – it is also the cost of packaging and consumables and the opportunity cost of handling (such as the time spent in queues in the Post Office). Other sellers have been given negative feedback because they charged 50p more than the actual cost of the postage stamp. Our costs are usually up to about £1.00 above the actual cost of the stamp, although bigger, more fragile, items may have higher charges.
Please, don't argue about the postage cost after the sale has been made. If you do not agree with the total cost of the item including P&P, then please don't bid. Our charges are calculated to try to be fair to all parties. Selling on e-Bay takes up a lot of time, especially calculating P&P costs for individual items, and mistakes can happen. We sometimes err by undercharging for postage – no one has yet offered us compensation for that. We miscalculated, and have to bear the cost. If we consider that the charges are exorbitant, we will make a refund unasked – a few of our customers already have experience of this.
Postage discount for multiple items will only be given if you requested it before paying for your purchase. A partial refund of postal charges is time consuming and annoying. So, please do not leave poor feedback based on excessive postage charges if you did not take the time to request a postage discount.
Payment, or, in case of payment by cheque, contact, should be made within three days of sale (although we would prefer instant payment). After three days, we will hassle you daily by e-mail. Non-payment after seven days will result in a dispute being opened.
We will post all items after receiving cleared funds. We will not post items for which we have not been paid. If you pay by cheque, the UK Banks are now claiming at least six working days for clearance. If you pay by PayPal e-cheque, expect at least a 14-day wait. We go to the Post Office every morning at around 09.00hrs – items paid for before 08.30hrs will usually be posted the same day; after 08.30hrs, they will usually be sent the next day. We do not post on Saturday afternoons or Sundays.

Feedback helps us to know that you have received your goods, and that you are satisfied. If there are any problems, please contact us before leaving bad feedback – we would like to sort out any problems amicably.
