This astonishing ring is set with a certificated, natural, earth-mined round brilliant-cut diamond. It weighs a very considerable 1.70 carat.
This diamond is of exceptional white colour E, which means that it is exceedingly pure white - right at the very top-end of the colour-grading scale.
It is of very good VS2 clarity, so it is a splendidly clear and transparent diamond - totally clean to the naked eye. (Please see GIA chart below for further information on colour and clarity.)
Its finish is graded as Very Good. In addition to a diamond's colour, clarity and carat-weight, a diamond's finish grade can also make an enormous difference to its overall brilliance and lustre.
As a round brilliant-cut diamond, it possesses all the fire and brilliance that is associated with this classic cut. Round brilliant-cut diamonds are cut to a precise formula, to achieve the maximum possible degree of vibrant sparkle from the gem. Round brilliant-cut diamonds are always associated with a superb and animated degree of vibrant lustre.
The shank is heavily-made of solid, fully-hallmarked platinum 950, the noblest of the precious metals, with 4-claw setting. Platinum is non-allergenic and compatible with all skin types. The ring is currently UK size N (USA size 7), but could easily be resized to fit, by your local high-street jeweller, if necessary.
