The Sandbags are all seperate and flat on one side for stacking purposes, so you have the freedom to build and rebuild different redoubts, bunkers, morter pits, etc in many different forms, the best way to paint them is prime them first, get the colour you require and dry brush with a darker colour to bring out the texture this adds to the realism also an Ink wash enhances.
