1.3/8" (34.93mm) Sawtooth Forstner Bit 

The very finest boring bits from Planet Manufacturing.

Forstner, or pattern maker's bits are unlike any other type of boring bit in that they are guided by their rims and not a centre point or spiral. Holes bored with a forstner are clean, accurate and flat bottomed. Only a Forstner will bore half a hole on the edge of a board, or overlapping holes. They can be used at any angle as for pocket holes and are completely unaffected by grain or knots in the timber.

• Long series - all sizes are a minimum of 150mm long
• Suitable for all wood types including end grain boring
• Will produce over-lapping holes
