This delectable ring is set with a certificated, natural, earth-mined emerald-cut diamond. It weighs a considerable 1.00 carat.
This diamond is of exceptional white colour D, which means that it is the most perfect white colour possible. Its colour could not be improved upon and this is the highest colour-grade that any diamond can be awarded. It is of perfect Internally Flawless (IF) clarity. Therefore, it is a totally transparent diamond, which is completely free of inclusions. This is the highest possible clarity-grade that a diamond can be awarded. Its finish is graded as Excellent. In addition to a diamond's colour, clarity and carat-weight, a diamond's finish grade can also make an enormous difference to its overall brilliance and lustre.
With an emerald-cut diamond, try to buy the best quality stone that you can afford. This is because the "openness" of the cut gives a clear view straight into the stone. Due to its elongated lines, an emerald-cut diamond displays broad and dramatic flashes of light. It also gives a most elegant and sophisticated air to a ring.
The shoulders are set with 12 round diamonds, of approximate D / IF quality. Together, these shoulder diamonds weigh a total of 0.15 carat. They make a very pretty frame for the central diamond indeed.
The shank is heavily-made of solid, fully-hallmarked platinum 950, the noblest of the precious metals.
