FAQ
Q: Do I have
to send my wheels to you first; I don't want my car off the
road?
A: No, we
send you the refurbished alloys first and allow you up to
7 days to have them changed. If we don't receive the
wheels back within 14 days you will be charged the cost of a
replacement set which will be refunded when we receive your
old wheels. £5 per day rental will be deducted for every
day overdue.
Q: I work
during the week and can't wait in for delivery of my wheels.
A: No
problem, just speak to the company that will be fitting your
wheels. Most are happy to have wheels delivered directly to
them ready for fitting.
Q: How do I
send my old wheels back to you?
A: All the
instructions for return and the carriage paid return labels
will be inside the box with your new wheels. It is your
responsibility to ensure the wheels are picked up by the
courier. I.e. you have to telephone DHL and make sure they
are available for the driver (failed collections will be
charged).
Q: How much
is the deposit to ensure I return my old wheels?
A: There is
no deposit; we would rather trust our customers.
Q: What
happens if I don't send my old wheels back?
A: We
will charge you for a replacement set at our
discretion.
Q: I want to
exchange my wheels but I can't see my wheels on your eBay.
How can I exchange them?
A: Make sure
you look in our eBay shop
as not alloy our alloys are
advertised in the main listing.
We may be able to source some wheels identical to yours and refurbish
those ready for exchange. Please attach a photo to
info@pxwheels.com
or send a camera phone picture.
Q: I want
these wheels but I have different wheels on my car, can I
exchange?
A: No, this
is STRICTLY a 'like for like' exchange. You must have
exactly the same alloys to enter into the exchange.
Q: Do these
wheels include centre caps?
A: If the
photo shows centre caps, then yes. If not, then centre caps
are not included.
Q: My wheels
are genuine. Will the wheels I receive also be genuine
wheels?
A: Always, we
never send replica wheels out unless they have been ordered
(see next question).
Q: My wheels
are replicas can I exchange them for genuine wheels?
A: No, the
exchange is strictly genuine for genuine and replica for
replica.
Q: What
happens if I send you wheels back which aren't the same as
the ones you sent me?
A: We will
charge you for a replacement set of wheels and it will be
your responsibility to remove the returned wheels from our
premises. We will dispose of them after 1 month if they are
not removed.
Q: Can I buy
the wheels outright?
A: No, we
need to maintain our stock to be able to carry out the
exchange service.
Q: I want to
keep my own wheels, can you refurbish them for me?
A: Yes, the
cost is the same as the exchange.
Q:
My wheels are much corroded, can I still exchange them?
A: Probably,
only the very worst examples can't be refurbished, usually
very old wheels and some later chrome wheels.
Q: My wheels
have flat spots on the inside rim caused by potholes. Can I
still exchange them?
A: Yes,
providing the wheel is within about 5mm deflection.
Q: How much
does it cost to send my old wheels back?
A: Nothing,
the price you paid covers delivery to you and collection of
your old wheels.
Q: Can I have
my wheels a different colour?
A: Yes, but
we may require payment in full before we paint them.

Q: My wheels
are a diamond cut or polished finish, will the exchange
