What is a Diamond?

A diamond is a natural crystalline mineral, a transparent form of pure carbon. A diamond is the most sought-after of all gemstones, it's "The Supreme Gemstone", a lifelong reminder of love and attachment. Diamonds are the hardest substance known on Earth. Each one is formed under immense heat and pressure in our Earth's interior, hundreds of miles beneath the surface, and they are brought to the surface through volcanic eruptions. Diamonds are more than 70 million years old in age, but what many people don’t know about them is that approximately 250 tons of ore must be mined and processed in order to produce a single, 1 carat, polished, gem quality diamond, hence the reason they are so rare and valuable.
Item Specifications
This ring features a GENUINE 0.80ct, mined from the earth Round Brilliant Cut diamond that is of G-H white colour and SI1 clarity, eye clean & very sparkly. This diamond ring retails for around £2500 at your local high street jewellery shops, but why pay more when you can buy it here for much much less! It really doesn't get much better than this as now you have the opportunity to purchase a large, brand new, quality real diamond solitaire engagement ring at cost value and with NO RESERVE!
The diamond has a huge amount of faceting due to its premium cut and it's securely set in a classic 6 prong Tiffany style setting, to catch the light at every turn. The ring is made of solid 14kt Yellow Gold and it weighs approx 2,50 grams (comfort fit).
As I said before this ring is brand new, currently UK size L (US 6) and it can be easily resized to the size you require for a small nominal fee by your local jewelller. This stone would look fantastic in any number of settings (if you are looking for a loose stone). It measures 6.10 mm in diameter, a very nicely proportioned diamond, beautifully cut with a faceted and well polished girdle. In addition, this lovely ring will be sent elengantly gift boxed, ready to be given as a tremendous engagement or anniversary gift, worthy of that special lady in your life, or why not just treat yourself?
Buying Jewellery Online
eBay is a relatively young internet marketplace, nevertheless it has grown amazingly fast in the last couple of years thanks to the good will and honesty of all the buyers and sellers members of this community, not only in the UK but all over the world too. I understand that sometimes it can be difficult knowing who you can and can't trust, and there are certain things that you should look for if you have arrived at my auction thinking about buying a diamond engagement ring for your beloved wife-to-be. You must consider that if you do win one of my auctions it is likely you will be willing to spend an average of around £500 or more towards an item. I do want to make you feel good about your prospective purchase, it is therefore very important that you read my terms and conditions carefully and if you have any questions please email me via Ask seller a question.

You may feel that you are nervous about your purchase but I can tell you that feedback is the cornerstone of eBay, whether you are a seller or a buyer, and with it we build or lose our reputations. Sellers do look at potential buyer's feedback to decide whether they want to have that person as a customer or not, and as a buyer I have looked in the past at other seller's feedback to decide if I want to buy from that seller. If you are new on eBay you should definitely read a seller's feedback as this is always the best (sometimes the only) indication of a seller's honesty. And whilst we are on that subject, please be very careful bidding on any auction with a seller who is offering a number of expensive items for sale at unbelievable prices. If it seems too good to be true, then unfortunately it probably is. The vast majority of us are honest ebayers, but there are a tiny minority who aren't, so a seller's feedback is the first thing you should look at.
Buying with your head & with your heart
Let me prove you wrong if you think of diamonds or jewellery as expensive purchases. You will be pleasantly surprised to see how affordable my diamonds are. Compared with the lifetime costs of other goods, diamonds aren't a major expense. I know families who spend £4000, and more, on a fortnights beach holiday, to whom £500 for a diamond ring seems to be a fortune. A jeweller once told me he had a customer who went to buy a diamond engagement ring for his wife-to-be, and he made her feel guilty about choosing one at £2000 over one at £1000. Outside was his brand new £17,000 convertible!
When you commit yourself to spend the rest of your life with someone it is because your heart is telling you she is "the one" so don't be cheap when buying her diamond engagement ring, you don't need to pay the earth for a genuine diamond ring if you have arrived at my auction. Most of us are not fortunate enough to have an unlimited budget but it is also important to remember to buy with your head and with your heart.

At this stage, do I still need to tell you how great this deal is? The diamond is almost 1 full carat, clear and sparkly, just the way it's meant to be. This real diamond ring retails for around £2500 at your local high street shops, however, I am offering it with no reserve and there is a very low starting price so YOU decide how much you want to pay for this ring. If you have read my feedback, you know you can bid with complete confidence, don't miss out on this amazing deal. Be sure to bid early and bid to win! All ebayers are welcome to my auctions but please make sure you know what you are bidding on and that you understand your bid is a binding contract. It costs me time and money to relist an item so if you are unsure about anything please email me before placing a bid.
About my Auctions
I always make my best efforts to accurately describe an item and provide good photographs. I am not a gemologist, therefore I rely on the services and knowledge of those who are. Please also note that I am a private individual, not a shop, therefore this is a private sale. I bought, not long ago, a very large parcel of diamonds for my collection and now I decided to sell a few pieces. I hand picked all these diamonds myself as I bought them for my own personal use so rest assured they are all genuine diamonds and are the REAL deal around, offering excellent value for your money. Most of them are offered below wholesale and trading prices so I hope you can appreciate them before someone else does. As I mentioned earlier, if you do win one of my auctions it is not likely to be a small amount of money that you will be committing yourself to, therefore I ask you to bid responsibly, read the listing carefully, ask all questions before bidding and please don't bid if you have any reservations or disagreements with my terms. I am proud of my feedback rating, it has been hard earned and I want to discourage anyone who feel that somehow these policies might not apply to them. I can't police my auctions 24/7 so if you do bid and don't write to me you will still be bound by these terms, and please remember that your bid is a contract to purchase the item at the amount of your bid at any time throughout the auction. It doesn't take long, so just drop me a quick email via Ask seller a question. I am very keen to make your buying experience on Ebay as pleasant as possible. When I am selling something I am working hard for your positive feedback.

The internet happens to be an even better and more cost effective way of buying your goods. There is no travelling into town, no traffic, no hassle, no nasty weather, no closing times. You can just sit at home and browse whenever you want. Read, understand and abide by my terms of sale and take advantage of the possibility for anyone to buy a certified diamond ring on an international diamond market at a real market price. Good luck!!!
Terms & Conditions
