These beautiful earrings are set with a pair of Asscher-cut diamond solitaires, weighing a total of 0.50 carat (25 points per diamond) and with excellent finish. An Asscher-Cut diamond is a stepped square cut, often called the "square emerald-cut", with cropped corners, enabling a 4-claw setting. The Asscher-cut is designed to draw the eye into the diamond and as such, you should always select the diamond with the highest clarity-grade that you can afford. Your gaze is pulled further and further in, by the mesmerising fluidity of the “pond-effect” of the diamond. It displays a spectacular kaleidoscope of flashing bars of light: Indeed, it is poetry in motion. These diamonds are of approximate rare white colour F, which means that they are tremendously pure white and bright. It is right at the very top-end of the diamond colour-grading scale.They are of approximate SI clarity, and therefore do not contain any inclusions that are visible to the naked eye. (Please see GIA chart below for further information on colour and clarity.) The earrings and Alpha backs are made of solid, hallmarked 18ct white gold, to best compliment the whiteness of the diamonds. Alpha backs are the best, most comfortable and secure type of earring back.We are currently supplying high street jewellers with these splendid earrings.
